Found along the eastern coast of Australia from Queensland through to Victoria, Australian King Parrots inhabit rainforests, dense coastal forests and wooded mountain regions, and are often seen visiting gardens near bushland.
These gentle parrots are usually spotted quietly feeding on seeds, fruits and blossoms high in the treetops, their bold colours standing out beautifully against the deep greens of the forest.
