'Bin Chicken' is the nickname given to the Australian White Ibis.
They have a long, curvy beak. In the wild, they use it to poke into mud and water to find yummy insects and small animals. But in the city, it helps them to reach deep into trash bins!
Though the birds are native to Australia's inland wetlands, drying conditions and destruction of their natural habitat have pushed them into cities.
They've become a common sight in parks and around busy streets.
We loved drawing this Bin Chicken for you.
Our art was made into a cute pin, using Recycled Plastics, right here in Brisbane, Australia.
